Ragnar Bøe Elgsaas (born 1972) is a former Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. He was leader of the Oslo chapter of the Workers' Youth League (AUF) from 1993 until 1995, when he withdrew after the publishing of the Workers' Youth League membership scandal in Verdens Gang. In 1998, he was convicted of fraud. The Workers' Youth League membership scandal was a political scandal, where leaders of the Workers' Youth League (AUF) was charged of deliberately inflating membership numbers to receive increased government funding. Two former treasurers and two former leaders of the Oslo chapter were found guilty of fraud, and given prison sentences, for having unlawfully received NOK 648, 000 in grants from the City of Oslo between 1992 and 1994. The convicted were Ragnar Bøe Elgsaas, Anders Hornslien, Bjørn Jarle Rødberg Larsen and Anders Greif Mathisen.
