Polly Samson, geboren 1962, ist chinesisch-englisch-deutscher Abstammung. Sie arbeitete als Pressechefin eines Verlags und als Journalistin, unter anderem für Sunday Times und Cosmopolitan. Erste Buchveröffentlichung 1999. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in Sussex.
