Poczernin [ptrnin] (formerly German Pützerlin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stargard Szczeciski, within Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north-west of Stargard Szczeciski and 25 km (16 mi) east of the regional capital Szczecin. Before 1945, the area was part of Germany. Gmina Stargard Szczeciski is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Stargard Szczeciski, although the town is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of 318.47 square kilometres (123.0 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 11, 322.
