Poborszów [pbruf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Reska Wie, within Kdzierzyn-Köle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Reska Wie, 9 km (6 mi) west of Kdzierzyn-Köle, and 35 km (22 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. Gmina Reska Wie is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Kdzierzyn-Köle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Reska Wie, which lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Kdzierzyn-Köle and 42 km (26 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. The gmina covers an area of 97.91 square kilometres (37.8 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 8, 663. Kdzierzyn-Köle County (Polish: powiat kdzierzysko-kozielski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Opole Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998.
