Klappentext
The end of everyone was just the beginning... Minetaro Mochizuki's classic 90s head-trip disaster manga is now in print!
AGAINST ALL ODDS THEY ESCAPE THE ABYSS, ONLY TO FIND EVEN GREATER DARKNESS...
Teru and Ako finally escape the tunnel, but the mystery of whatever caused their horrible train crash only deepens when they find nothing but ruins, abandoned buildings, and unending gloom above ground. Soon, however, they see suspiciously human-like shadows slinking about and chase after them in a last-ditch effort to find someone---anyone ---else alive.
But even friendly faces conceal their own darkness, and sometimes the people we implicitly trust can turn out to be the most dangerous of all.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Acclaimed author Minetaro Mochizuki first broke into the world of manga with his short story Tadatada Honobono Heart (A Simply Lovely Heart), which in 1984 won the Chiba Tetsuya Award for newcomers, a distinguished prize named for the preeminent author of Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow . Two of Mochizuki's works, Samehada Otoko to Momojiri Onna (Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl) and Dragon Head have been adapted into live-action films, and his series Ochanoma (The Living Room) was adapted into a live-action drama.
Dragon Head earned him the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize---one of the manga industry's most coveted awards established in honor of the tremendously influential author of Astro Boy and Buddha---as well as the prestigious Kodansha Manga Award.
