Malala Yousafzai (Author)
Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist, student and the youngest person ever awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. At age 15, she was shot by the Taliban for speaking out for the rights of girls in her community to go to school. Malala recovered, continued her campaign and, as co-founder of Malala Fund, is building a global movement of support for girls' education.

Kerasco(Illustrator)
Kerascois the joint pen name of the French illustrators, comics and animation artists Marie Pommepuy (b. 1978) and Sstien Cosset (b. 1975). A married couple, they met while attending the Olivier de Serres art school. Kerascohave worked on numerous bandes dessin as well as children's books, and in advertising. Several of their comics have been published in English to critical acclaim. They were nominated for the Ignatz Award for Outstanding Graphic Novel for Beauty , and for an Eisner Award for their comic Beautiful Darkness .
Biografie (Malala Yousafzai)
Malala Yousafzai, geboren 1997, wurde von klein auf von ihrem Vater Ziauddin gefördert und dazu ermutigt, sich für die Rechte von Mädchen einzusetzen. Ziauddin Yousafzai leitete selbst eine Schule im pakistanischen Swat-Tal und missachtete damit das Verbot der Taliban. Malala lebt heute mit ihrer Familie in England, wo sie sich von ihren schweren Verletzungen erholt. Seit März 2013 geht sie in Birmingham wieder zur Schule.
