Biografie (Karin Sternberg)
Karin Sternberg has a PhD in psychology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and an MBA with a specialization in banking from the University of Cooperative Education in Karlsruhe, Germany. She has studied at Yale University and did her postdoctoral work in social psychology at the University of Connecticut with John F. Dovidio. Sternberg worked as a research associate at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and School of Public Health. In 2008 she founded Sternberg Consulting with her husband, Robert J. Sternberg. The company focuses on practical applications of Robert Sternberg's theories of intelligence, wisdom, creativity, and leadership, among others, and has consulted for various industries, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations and developed products based on these theories.Biografie (Robert J. Robert J. Sternberg is Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Psychology and Education at Tufts University as well as Honorary Professor of Psychology at the University of Heidelberg. Prior to coming to Tufts, he was IBM Professor of Psychology and Education and Professor of Management at Yale University. Sternberg is President of the International Association for Cognitive Education and Psychology and President-Elect of the Federation of Associations of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Sternberg's PhD is from Stanford, and he has 11 honorary degrees. He is the author of about 1,200 publications and has held more than $20 million in grants. He is the recipient of approximately two dozen professional awards.
