Biography
John Cowper Powys lebte von 1872 bis 1963. Er war Sohn eines Pfarrers, studierte in Cambridge und widmete sich der Kulturkritik und der Psychoanalyse. Er verbrachte die meiste Zeit seines Lebens in den USA als Vortragsreisender, erst im Alter erfolgte die Rückkehr nach Wales.
