Biography (John Christopher)

John Christopher, eigentlich Christopher Samuel Youd, wurde 1922 im englischen Lancashire geboren. Als Jugendlicher begann er mit dem Schreiben von Fantasygeschichten, nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg erschienen seine ersten Romane. Der Durchbruch als Autor von Jugendbüchern gelang ihm mit der Trilogie »Tripods«.
