Gambling addiction in women remains invisible for a long time. It does not fit common stereotypes, often escalates quietly and is frequently only recognised once psychological, social or financial damage has already become profound. This specialist book closes a central gap in research, practice and public debate by consistently analysing gambling disorders from a gender-sensitive perspective.
