Biografie
Jamal Mahjoub wurde 1960 als Sohn einer Engländerin und eines Sudanesen in London geboren und wuchs in Khartum/Sudan auf. Bereits während seines Geologiestudiums in Großbritannien veröffentlichte er literarische Texte. Mahjoub ist ein Kosmopolit, der nach vielen Ortswechseln als Autor, Publizist und Übersetzer heute in Barcelona lebt.
