Hannah Tunnicliffe wurde in Neuseeland geboren. Sie studierte Sozialwissenschaft und lebte danach in Australien, England und Macao. Nachdem sie einige Zeit in der Personalwirtschaft und als Karriere-Coach arbeitete, wandte sie sich ihrem Traum, dem Schreiben, zu. Mit ihrem Mann und ihrer Tochter lebt sie heute in Vancouver, Kanada.
