Building with straw bales is a technique pioneered a century ago in the state of Nebraska. Biography (Gernot Minke)
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gernot Minke ist Hochschullehrer an der Universität Kassel. Er leitet dort am Fachbereich Architektur das von ihm 1974 gegründete Forschungslabor für Experimentelles Bauen (FEB). Daneben ist er als freier Architekt und Berater für Bauökologie tätig.Biography (Benjamin Krick)
Dr.-Ing. Benjamin Krick ist Architekt und Lehrbeauftragter für ökologisches Bauen. Er hat über das Thema "Strohballenbau" promoviert und arbeitet am Passivhaus-Institut in Darmstadt.
