Biography
George Catlin (1796-1872): in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania geboren. Bereits in seiner Jugend fühlt er sich zum Leben in der Wildnis hingezogen. Im Jahr 1821 beschließt er, seine Karriere als Jurist aufzugeben und Maler zu werden.
