Biografie (Zelda Fitzgerald)
Zelda Fitzgerald wurde 1900 in Montgomery (Alabama) geboren. 1920 heiratete sie F. Scott Fitzgerald und zog mit ihm nach New York. Zusammen mit der 1921 geborenen Tochter Scottie machte das Paar viele Reisen, u.a. nach Frankreich, nach Italien und in die Schweiz. In Paris nahm sie Ballettstunden bei einer Tänzerin des Djagilew-Balletts. 1930 erlitt sie einen ersten Nervenzusammenbruch, der zur Einweisung in eine Nervenheilanstalt führte. 1948, acht Jahre nach dem Tod ihres Mannes, starb sie bei einem Brand im Highland Mental Hospital in Asheville (North Carolina).
