Biography (Emma Braslavsky)
Emma Braslavsky, 1971 in Erfurt geboren, lebt nach Zwischenstationen in Rom, New York und Tel Aviv heute mit ihrer Familie in Berlin. Seit Ende ihres Studiums der Russistik, Italianistik und Südostasienstudien 1999 in Berlin, Moskau und Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt arbeitet sie als freie Autorin, Kuratorin und Übersetzerin. Sie ist Mitbegründerin und künstlerische Leiterin des papirossa - netzmuseums fuer sprache und Vorstandsvorsitzende des interdisziplinären Kunstvereins GdK Galerie der Künste e.V. Berlin. Würdigungen 2005, Werkstatt-Stipendium des Literarischen Colloquiums Berlin 2006, Grenzgänger-Stipendium der Robert Bosch Stiftung 2007, Uwe-Johnson-Förderpreis 2008. Aufenthaltsstipendium am Studienzentrum Venedig.Notes:
