Emily White: Forbidden Fantasies in Illustrations, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Two doors. Two secrets. Two women who look innocent until the blinds come down.

In a quiet Ohio summer, a lonely warehouse worker counts the seconds until the church sister walks past his gate - the woman with the long skirt, the pinned hair, and the Bible she carries like a lunch pail. For a month they play a wordless game of stolen glances, until a heat wave sends her up his porch steps asking for a glass of water. What she asks for next is something no prayer will cover. What begins on that porch ends in a wedding - but the question he asked her on day one is the one she will never answer.

Across town, Sybil is a university student with a plan. Her new neighbor Fred is gorgeous, silent, and hopelessly inexperienced - and she has decided he will not stay that way. One video game, one borrowed mattress, and one very short lilac pajama later, the shyest boy in the condominium learns exactly what he has been missing... and becomes the most devoted man on the block.

Fully illustrated in bold anime-eros style, this collection pairs every burning scene with artwork that pulls you inside the fantasy - playful, explicit, and completely shameless. Two stories, two points of view, two fantasies that most collections only dare to hint at.

Are you ready to answer the door?
