Biography (Duff McKagan)
DUFF McKAGAN, 1964, spielte in Punk-Bands in Seattle, bevor er mit 20 nach Los Angeles aufbrach. Dort gründete er gemeinsam mit vier anderen jungen Musikern die Band Guns N Roses, deren Appetite for Destruction das meistverkaufte Debütalbum der Geschichte werden sollte. Nach 13 Jahren in GN R stieg er aus, um eine Familie zu gründen und ein Wirtschaftsstudium zu absolvieren. McKagan ist mit seiner Band Loaded regelmäßig auf Tour und schreibt wöchentliche Kolumnen für Seattleweekly.com und ESPN.com. 2011 gründete er Meridian Rock, ein Vermögensberatungsunternehmen für Rockmusiker. Er lebt mit seiner Frau dem Model Susan Holmes und den gemeinsamen Töchtern in Seattle.
