Biography (David Diop)
David Diop wurde 1966 in Paris geboren und ist im Senegal aufgewachsen. Er unterrichtet heute französischsprachige afrikanische Literatur an der Universität Pau. »Nachts ist unser Blut schwarz« ist sein zweiter Roman, der in Frankreich als literarische Sensation gefeiert und in kürzester Zeit zum Presse- und Publikumsliebling wurde. David Diop erhielt dafür unter anderem den Prix Goncourt des lycéens 2018. Booker Prize 2021.
