Chevy Stevens ist auf einer Ranch auf Vancouver Island aufgewachsen. Sie arbeitete einige Jahre als Immobilienmaklerin und kam während der einsamen Wartezeiten bei Open-House-Besichtigungen auf die Idee zu ihrem ersten Thriller. Die Autorin lebt mit ihrem Mann auf Vancouver Island vor der kanadischen Westküste und schreibt.
