Biografie
Catherine Fisher arbeitete als Lehrerin und Archäologin, bevor sie begann, phantastische Romane und Lyrik zu schreiben. Für ihre Gedichte und ihre Kinder- und Jugendbücher wurde sie mehrfach ausgezeichnet, etwa mit dem "Welsh Arts Council Young Writers Prize" und dem "Tir Na n'Og". Nominiert war sie unter anderem für den "Smarties Book Prize". An der Universität von Glamorgan unterrichtet Catherine Fisher Literarisches Schreiben für Kinder und Jugendliche. Die Autorin lebt und arbeitet in Newport, Wales.
