Klappentext
A small young street dog must survive completely alone in Kathmandu, the capital of the country Nepal. On his journey into life, he follows his instincts and encounters other dogs and, of course, the people who live around him. He leads us into a world of his own, in a turbulent time when the still young republic is struggling for its final democratic constitution. A world with different religions, customs and traditions, where written texts, narrated stories and dreams still play an important role. The little dog encounters the young Raju, who works with his mother Sanu on a construction site and suddenly disappears because he falls into the hands of criminals. This narrative also deals with Raju's widowed mother Sanu, who has already had to master a difficult fate, and is now desperately searching for her son. When a natural disaster finally occurs in the Kathmandu Valley and the political events also escalate, each of them must find their own way through the crisis.
