Ann-Marie Maloney: It Soon Come, Kartoniert / Broschiert

Klappentext

It Soon Come - is raw, unflinching, and tender - about what it feels like to move from pain into courage, from courage into joy, and from joy into self-love. It is for anyone who has ever had to relearn their own worth from the ground up. This collection is rooted in Black storytelling tradition, where the letter becomes testimony and the poem becomes prayer. Written as both confession and invitation, these poems and letters don't just tell a story of becoming - they hold the door open for you to begin your own journey. Whether you are in the ache of unraveling or standing in the light of who you're becoming, this book meets you there.

Ann-Marie Maloney is a luminous poet; her work is borne from the up-against-the-wall moments of life, and like a lotus flower, blossoms with wisdom. Ann-Marie. exclaims that "we are both the breaking and the open door." This collection will stir your soul to a lyrical awakening you never thought possible.
