Ann Aguirre, geboren 1970, ist eine amerikanische Bestseller-Autorin mit einem Abschluss in Englischer Literatur. Bevor sie sich ganz der Schreiberei widmete, arbeitete sie als Clown, Buchhalterin, Synchronsprecherin und als Retterin von streunenden Kätzchen, wenn auch nicht zwangsläufig in dieser Reihenfolge. Sie schreibt vor allem Science-Fiction- und Fantasy-Romane und lebt mit ihrem Mann, Kindern, zwei Katzen und einem Hund in Mexiko.
