The castle's uniqueness lies in the frescoes that have decorated both the interior and exterior areas since 1400, for which reason the castle is sometimes referred to as the 'illustrated manor'. Anja Grebe, geb. 1968, ist promovierte Kunsthistorikerin und wissenschaftliche Publizistin. Sie ist freie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Germanischen Nationalmuseum in Nürnberg und Lehrbeauftragte der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.Biography (Ulrich Großmann)
