Biography (Allen Ginsberg)

Allen Ginsberg, geboren 1926 in Paterson, New Jersey, gilt als einer der wichtigsten Vertreter der Beat Generation. Seine Texte landeten bei Erscheinen regelmäßig auf dem Index, allen voran sein berühmtestes Gedicht »Howl«. Für seinen Gedichtband »The Fall Of America« erhielt er den National Book Award, außerdem ist er Träger der Goldenen Medaille des National Arts Club. Für seinen Einfluss auf die Entwicklung der Literatur und künstlerischen Freiheit wurde er in die »American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters« aufgenommen. Er starb 1997 in New York.

Biography (Michael Schumacher)

Michael Schumacher ist Professor für Entwerfen und Konstruieren an der Fakultät für Architektur und Landschaft der Leibniz Universität Hannover und seit mehr als zwanzig Jahren Mitinhaber des Büros schneider + schumacher.
