Coupe d'Afrique des Nations)) ist ein vom afrikanischen Fußballverband CAF organisiertes Fußballturnier, bei dem die afrikanischen Fußballnationalverbände ihren kontinentalen Meister ermitteln. Im Jahr 1957 wurde der Afrika-Cup ins Leben gerufen. Seit 1968 findet die Endrunde alle zwei Jahre statt. Der im jeweiligen Austragungsjahr des FIFA Konföderationen-Pokals amtierende Sieger des Afrika-Cups ist für dieses Turnier qualifiziert.
