Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, has had a profound impact on global health. While many individuals recover from the acute symptoms, a significant number continue to experience long-term effects, often referred to as "post-COVID syndrome" or "long COVID." These lingering symptoms, such as fatigue, muscle weakness, and respiratory issues, can severely impact a person's functional capacity and quality of life (QOL). As a result, there is a growing need for effective rehabilitation strategies to support recovery in individuals who have overcome the acute phase of the virus. Purpose of the Study: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual physiotherapy rehabilitation in improving functional capacity and quality of life in post-COVID-19 individuals. It compared virtual physiotherapy to a simpler rehabilitation regimen consisting of walking with deep breathing exercises.
