Biografie
Shimon Gibson ist seit mehr als dreißig Jahren als Archäologe in Israel tätig. Er ist Mitarbeiter des W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research in Jerusalem und lehrt als Professor an der University of North Carolina. Mehrere Jahre lang hat er die Forschungsabteilung der Israelischen Altertümerverwaltung geleitet.
