Panagiotis Papadopoulos is a Greek wrestler and one of the rising stars of the ''Greek Team'', in Greco-Roman wrestling. He grew up in the village of Prohoma, near Thessaloniki. His father was a wrestler so, while still a child, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps. It wasn't long before he began winning Gold Metals in local matches. While still very young, he was discovered by agents from Athens and moved there to further his career. He became a champion in his weight category and has since become known internationally. He was a participant in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
