Biografie
Ota Pavel, 1930 in Prag geboren, begeisterte sich schon als Junge für den Sport. Als Journalist des Prager Rundfunks schrieb er Sportreportagen und reiste dafür durch die ganze Welt. Nach langer Krankheit, die ihn nur zeitweise arbeiten ließ. Ota Pavel starb 1973 in Prag. In seiner Heimatstadt wurde er mit einem Ota-Pavel-Museum geehrt
