Biography
Morton Rhue, geboren 1950 in Long Island, New York, hat sich in Amerika durch zahlreiche Publikationen im "New Yorker" und der "Village voice" sowie durch mehrere Jugendromane einen Namen gemacht. Er veröffentlicht auch unter dem Namen Todd Strasser.§Mit seinem Roman "Die Welle", der auch fürs Fernsehen verfilmt wurde, ist Morton Rhue auch in Deutschland bekannt geworden. Dieser Roman ist mittlerweile eine klassische Schullektüre in Deutschland.§Rhue greift in seinen Büchern kontroverse Themen für Jugendliche wie Nationalsozialismus, Gewalt an Schulen oder Obdachlosigkeit auf.Notes:
