Biografie
Julia Franck wurde 1970 in Berlin (Ost) geboren. 1978 reiste die Familie aus. Sie wurde u. a. mit dem 3sat-Preis des Ingeborg-Bachmann-Wettbewerbs 2000 ausgezeichnet und mit dem Marie-Luise Kaschnitz-Preis 2004. Julia Franck lebt mit ihren zwei Kindern in Berlin.
