Biografie
Gene Sharp geboren 1928 in Ohio, saß als junger Mann neun Monate im Gefängnis, weil er die Einberufung in den Koreakrieg verweigert hatte. Er ist Politikwissenschaftler und lehrte an der Eliteuniversität Harvard. 1983 grürndete er das Albert-Einstein-Institut, das sich mit der wissenschaftlichen Untersuchung und der Verbreitung von gewaltfreien Lösungen weltweiter Konflikte beschäftigt.
