Biografie (Edmond Hamilton)
Edmond Hamilton (1904-1977) gilt, zusammen mit Jack Williamson und E. E. "Doc" Smith, als Vater der Space Opera innerhalb der Science-Fiction-Literatur. Seine erste Erzählung wurde 1926 in Weird Tales publiziert. Bekannt wurde Hamilton vor allem durch seine Captain Future-Serie, denn er verfasste 24 der 27 Geschichten und Romane, die in dem Magazin Captain Future und später in Startling Stories . Er war mit der SF- und Drehbuchautorin Autorin Leigh Brackett verheiratet.
