Donna Woolfolk Cross wurde in den vierziger Jahren in New York geboren, wo sie auch aufwuchs. Nach ihrem Studium arbeitete sie unter anderem in der Verlagsbranche. Sie lebt im Bundesstaat New York und lehrt "Writing" am Onondaga College.Notes:
