»The Unforgiving«, ihr fünftes Studioalbum, bietet eine gelungene Mischung aus 80er-Jahre-Retro-Elementen kombiniert mit modernem Sound. Das Album wurde veröffentlicht einer Comic-Serie und einer Reihe von drei Kurzfilmen veröffentlicht, um eine Konzept geschichte. Die erste Single »Faster« und der erste Kurzfilm »Mother Maiden« wurden im Januar 2011 veröffentlicht. Die erstaunliche Produktion von Daniel Gibson und das geschmackvolle Keyboard verleihen den Liedern zusätzliche Bedeutung und Klarheit.
