Der britische Filmkomponist Simon Boswell, der sich unter anderem auch für die Soundtracks von »Hackers«, »Fear Factory« und »The Crying Game« verantwortlich zeigt, startete seine Karriere im Filmgeschäft 1984 mit Dario Argentos »Phenomena«.
1986 folgte dann sogleich der nun erscheinende Soundtrack zu Argentos »Demoni 2«, in dem Dämonen Jagd auf Mieter und Besucher eines Hochhauses machen und das Gebäude zur mörderischen Falle wird.
Boswells Kombi aus dunklen elektronischen Prog-Grooves und brutalem Rock schafft eine epische Musikpartitur, die reich an analogen Synthesizern, angespannten Gitarrenrhythmen und Boswells charakteristischen Atmosphären ist. »Demoni 2« enthält bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks und einen Remix-Track des Ambient-Duos Motion Kapture.
