Rory-Gallagher-Fans aufgepasst: Universal veröffentlicht 2018 alle Soloalben des irischen Blues-Rock-Musikers, Songwriters und Taste-Gründers als remasterte Versionen, und zwar auf CD und als 180-g-LP.
Mit dabei sind Studio- und Livealben sowie posthume Veröffentlichungen.
Dazu gehört auch das Album »Notes From San Francisco«. Das Album erschien ursprünglich am 17. Mai 2011 posthum. Es besteht aus zwei Teilen: einem zuvor nie veröffentlichten Album, das Gallagher 1977 in San Francisco aufnahm sowie einem Konzertmitschnitt aus dem Jahr 1979 ebenfalls aus San Francisco.
Die neue remasterte LP enthält ausschließlich das Studioalbum, die Doppel-CD beide Teile.
Das legendäre Live- und Studioalbum neu aufgelegt: »Notes From San Francisco« von Rory Gallagher jetzt endlich wieder auf CD und LP.
