Nicht einmal ein halbes Jahr nach seinem neuen Studioalbum »The Similitude Of A Dream« meldet sich Neil Morse 2017 mit einer weiteren Veröffentlichung zurück. »Morsefest 2015 – ? And Sola Scriptura Live« ist der Mitschnitt des gigantischen Konzertevents.Sage und schreibe 38 Musiker waren mit von der Partie. Neben der Neal Morse Band, bestehend aus Neal Morse (Gesang, Keyboard, Gitarre), Mike Portnoy (Schlagzeug, Gesang), Randy George (Bass), Bill Hubauer (Keyboards, Gesang) und Eric Gillette (Gitarre, Gesang) teilten sich mehr als 30 weitere Musiker, darunter Streicher, Bläser, ein Chor sowie diverse Special-Guests, die Bühne im New Life Fellowship in Cross Plains Tenessee am 4. und 5. September 2015. Gemeinsam verpassten sie an beiden Abenden zahlreichen Stücken aus der Karriere von Neal Morse, Solostücken und Songs von Spock’s Beard und Transatlantic, ein teilweise völlig neues musikalisches Gewand.
Den Mitschnitt dieser beiden beeindruckenden Prog-Rock-Konzerte mit einer Gesamtlänge von mehr als fünf Stunden gibt es jetzt mit »Morsefest 2015 – ? And Sola Scriptura Live« auf vier CDs plus zwei DVDs sowie als Doppel-Blu-ray.
