Thomas Fonnesbæk und Justin Kauflin veröffentlichen ihr neues Album »Sharing«, das Nachfolge-Album des von den Kitikern gefeierten Albums »Synethesia«. Mit Billy Williams am Schlagzeug nun als Trio.
Das Album mit dem Titel Sharing wurde im November 2017 in Göteborg, Schweden, aufgenommen. Es besteht aus 10 Stücken, wobei der Hauptteil von Fonnesbæk komponiert wurde, zusammen mit einer Improvisation und einer Wiedergabe des Klassikers Inception, geschrieben von McCoy Tyner.
Mit »Sharing« verdeutlicht das Trio, dass Jazz nie eine internationalere Kunstform war als heute und dass neue Generationen die Musik immer wieder faszinieren. n
