Hier ist „L’Orfeo“, eines der Gründungswerke der Gattung Oper, in einer Fassung, die keine Minute lang die Vorstellung eines verstaubten Werkes aufkommen lässt, sondern Alte Musik in Frische und Unmittelbarkeit präsentiert; Qualitäten, die dieser Musik gerade auch unter jungen Leuten große Popularität eingetragen haben.
