Aus dem kalifornischen Orange County kommen The Garden, eine sich stetig weiter entwickelnde Punkrock-Band, deren Album »Haha« in Kooperation des DIY-Labels Burger Records (Cherry Glazer, Curtis Harding) mit Epitaph Records erscheint. Gegründet 2011 von den Zwillingen Wyatt und Fletcher Shears (die beiden modeln auch gerne mal für Yves Saint Laurent), lassen sich The Garden auf ihrem zweiten Album von klassischem Punk ebenso beeinflussen wie von 90er-Jahre-Hip-Hop und Big-Beat-Elektronik. Ein raues und sehr unmittelbares Zusammentreffen von Bass, Schlagzeug und Elektronik produziert von Rob Schnapf (Beck, Fidlar, Tokyo Police Club), für Fans von Ariel Pink, Girls, John Maus, Panda Bear.
