»Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches« wurde 1990 von den Happy Mondays veröffentlicht und fängt den chaotischen, euphorischen Geist der Madchester-Bewegung ein, indem es Indie-Rock, Acid-House-Rhythmen und Funk-Grooves zu einem Sound verschmilzt, der die britische Alternativmusik neu gestaltet.
