»Kingdom Come« ist das Debüt der Hardrock Band Kingdom Come. Die Band kam 1987 zusammen und veröffentlichte ihr Debüt ein Jahr später.
Produziert von Bob Rock (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Metallica) und dem Kingdom-Come-Frontmann Lenny Wolf, erreichte das Album am Veröffentlichungstag Goldstatus und kletterte bis auf Platz 12 der Billboard 200 Album Charts.
Die erste Single »Get It On« war der am meisten von Hörern gewünschte Song bei den AOR Radiostationen. Die zweite Single, die Powerballade »What Love Can Be« wurde sowohl im Radio als auch im Fernsehen auf »Heavy Rotation« gespielt. Als die dritte Single »Loving You« veröffentlicht wurde, hatte das Album bereits in den USA, in Deutschland und in Kanada Platin abgeräumt.
Nicht umsonst war die Band Teil der legendären 1988er Monster Of Rock Tour zusammen mit Dokken, Scorpions, Metallica und Van Halen!
