Klappentext
The Art of Courting a Fairy Knight is a cozy slice-of-life romantic fantasy set in a Regency-inspired world of enchanted galleries, spellbound sculptures, and fairy artistry, from Sylvie Cathrall, author of A Letter to the Luminous Deep .
Lady Aestival Violet, a Fairy knight of the Gallery Order, has no time for romance: she's far too busy solving puzzles and pacing the halls of the Commonplace Palace Museum. She certainly daren't indulge herself by, say, courting the fetchingly clever Miss Olivine Clement, a museum visitor who shares her love of wordplay and heist novels.
When a sculpture under Aesti's care (her least favorite sculpture, in fact) becomes the target of a real heist, she reluctantly agrees to stage a fake wedding in the galleries to lure the thief out of hiding. She's surprised beyond measure, too, when Miss Clement volunteers to play Aesti's false bride. As the pair prepare for their "marriage" and grow closer, Aesti begins to understand why Olivine is so invested in keeping this specific sculpture safe. Olivine's running from her past, and she needs protection herself-and knightly Aesti would be honored to provide. But if she becomes too distracted and lets Olivine steal her heart, the thief might manage to steal away the sculpture for good...
