Steve Cole, geb. 1971, arbeitete früher in verschiedenen Verlagen. Heute schreibt er erfolgreich Kinderbücher und Drehbücher für Kinderfilme, die in England sehr bekannt sind. Mit seiner Frau und seinen beiden Kindern lebt er in Buckinghamshire/England.
