Sonny Green: People like Us, Gebunden

Klappentext

My name is Sonny Green. I'm from Southend-on-Sea, Essex. I'm working-class and I write about the life I see around me. I didn't come from a literary background, and I never set out to be a poet.

I just started putting things into words because it helped me make sense of them.

These poems are about everyday life. Family, growing up, money worries, faith, fatherhood, and the places that shape us. They're influenced by council estates, school years, boot sales, seaside streets, and long conversations over a cup of tea.

Inspired by the people, places and experiences that have shaped Sonny's life, this uplifting poetry collection is a celebration of the people that make up Britain, the fathers doing their best to be there for their sons and the extraordinary that can be found in ordinary life. Beautifully written and with Sonny's cheeky chappy charm that has caused him to go viral so many times, People Like Us is a poetry collection for everyone.
