Klappentext
There are one billion pet dogs in the world - meaning one billion best friends. If you haven't seen one pooping on the street today, don't worry - you will! As a dedicated dog lover you'll know that dogs come in all shapes and sizes, smells and styles, each as doting, dozy and delightful as the last. This tiny tome is a catalogue of dogs - a dogalogue, if you will - and it celebrates each and every kind.
Stuffed with gloriously fun facts and silly, soppy stories, The Little Book of Good Dogs is a tribute to everything we love about these furry creatures. From historical heroes to literary muses, dogs of legend to legendarily crazy dogs, this dog-eared companion is the perfect gift for anyone who knows you never truly own a dog - you gain a family member. Enjoy!

Sample fact
In 1936, acclaimed author John Steinbeck's Irish setter Toby ate half the manuscript of Of Mice and Men - two months of work, with no copies. Initially distraught, Steinbeck then decided Toby was in fact his greatest critic, and promoted him to "lieutenant-colonel in charge of literature". A surviving fragment of the chewed manuscript sold at auction in 2023 for $13, 000 (six times its estimated value), and Of Mice and Men went on to win the Nobel Prize for Literature - Toby deserves half the praise!
