Nicolás Schuff: The Trojan War, Gebunden

Klappentext

Homer's Greek epic of love and revenge comes alive for a new generation in this vibrant graphic novel adaptation.

The goddesses Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite once held a beauty contest--and ended up starting a war!

To win the contest, Aphrodite promised Paris, prince of Troy, that she would give him the world's most beautiful woman as his bride. But that woman--a Greek queen named Helen--was already married! So Paris and Helen ended up running away together, starting a war that would be remembered for over three thousand years.

The armies of Greece fought the city of Troy, with each side led by renowned heroes like Hector, Achilles, and Odysseus. Only the most famous trick of all time--the Trojan Horse--could put an end to ten years of fighting.

Author Nicolás Schuff and illustrator Mariana Ruiz Johnson follow The Adventures of Odysseus: A Graphic Novel ofThe Odyssey with another vibrant, lively retelling of a Homerian epic.
